Z Athlete Group, Inc. formally established Motion DNA™ Signature Tracking as its core measurement framework in June 2025. Motion DNA™ represents the Company’s foundational principle: every person moves in a way that is unique to their own Motion DNA™ Signature.
This principle was first identified by the Company’s founder, Zig Ziegler, in 1999 through applied work in sports kinesiology, biomechanics, and human movement analysis. The insight recognized that movement is not generic, but shaped by an individual’s unique combination of balance, coordination, strength, mobility, neuromuscular control, injury history, and learned movement patterns.
Motion DNA™ Signature Tracking is designed to measure, identify, and track these individual movement characteristics over time. The system produces a repeatable movement signature that enables objective evaluation of efficiency, force application, fatigue, and movement tendencies across sport, training, competition, and everyday movement environments.
By standardizing Motion DNA™ Signature Tracking as the signature output across its ecosystem, the Company aligned all data collection and analysis around a consistent and comparable movement framework. This designation established the foundation for longitudinal tracking, large-scale data aggregation, and scalable deployment across multiple sports and venues.
