June 23, 2025 - Z Athlete Group, Inc. announced that on June 20, 2025, its founder and CEO, Zig Ziegler, filed a U.S. provisional patent application covering the systems, methods, and applications underlying Motion DNA™ Signature Tracking.
The provisional patent application outlines a comprehensive intellectual property framework, including over 65 independent claims and more than 300 dependent claims, addressing the measurement, identification, and tracking of individual movement signatures across sport, training, competition, and everyday movement environments.
Pursuant to a written patent assignment agreement, all right, title, and interest in and to the provisional patent application, together with any related intellectual property rights, were assigned to Z Athlete Group, Inc. This assignment consolidates ownership of the Company’s core movement-measurement technology at the parent company level.
The provisional filing and assignment support the Company’s strategy to protect its proprietary approach to movement analysis and to provide a foundation for future non-provisional filings, continued development, and commercial licensing initiatives.
